
Joseph Nsadha
Assistant Training Coordinator
Joseph Nsadha is an experienced energy systems professional specializing in electrical and solar technologies, with a strong focus on technical training, occupational safety, and community-based energy access. He holds a National Certificate in Electrical Engineering from St. Joseph Vocational Training Centre – Kamuli and a Higher National Diploma in Electrical Engineering from Uganda Military Engineering College – Lugazi.
Since joining the Sendea Institute for Energy and Management in 2021, he has played a key role in the coordination and delivery of solar energy training programs across Uganda. His responsibilities include supervising practical training sessions, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and mentoring emerging technicians in both rural and peri-urban settings.
He possesses advanced technical qualifications in renewable energy systems, including:
- Occupational Health, Safety & Environment – Makerere University
- Advanced Solar PV System Design, Installation & Maintenance – Gatenga, Kigali, Rwanda
- Operation & Maintenance of Solar Mini-Grids – Nakawa Vocational Training College
- Training of Trainers (ToT) in Solar Water Pumping Systems – Don Bosco, Bombo
- ToT in Solar Technology for Freelance Technicians – Don Bosco, Kamuli
- Certified Solar and Electrical Technician (Class D & Z) – Electricity Regulatory Authority
Through his work, he actively supports institutional partnerships, community outreach, and skills development programs aimed at promoting clean energy solutions. He is a passionate advocate for gender inclusivity in technical education, working to ensure increased participation of women and youth in the renewable energy workforce.
