
Loy Florence Kyozaire

Loy hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Makerere University (2009) and is a Certified Energy Manager from the Global University of Science and Technology, Egypt (2023), in collaboration with the World Green Economy Council.
Loy has extensive training in renewable energy technologies, including solar technology (IEEE), Minigrid Academy (Nairobi), renewable energy business management, solar finance, and sales management. She has vast experience in stakeholder engagement, business advisory services, training coordination, strategic planning, and project management. She has played a significant role in assessing and collaborating with vocational training institutes across Uganda, evaluating their capacity for specialized programs, and engaging with communities, government bodies, and development partners.
A recognized leader in the climate and renewable energy sectors, Loy has won the Women in Climate Sector Leadership Award (IGGGI/GIZ 2022) and the Women in Energy and Renewable Energy Skills Award (USEA Energy Expo 2024). She currently serves as Chairperson of the Board at Nakawa Vocational Training College (2024–2027) and is highly skilled in leadership and project management, enabling her to navigate the fast-evolving renewable energy industry.
