
Ms. Rosemary Senabulya Namatovu

Rosemary Namatovu Ssenabulya ia an accomplished, visionary and examplary leader. She is an expert in employment relations, organizational psychology, and corporate governance. She is a motivational speaker, trainer and author. She is a mentor and coach to many women and men who have made it in prominent leadership positions in the country.
She started her career in the Labour Movement of Uganda as an Assitant General Secretary at one of the National Union, rose to the rank of Treasurer General, Vice Chairman General, and Chairman General of the National Organization of Trade Unions ( NOTU ). She later joined and led the Federation of Uganda Employers ( FUE ) for 17 years, being the first woman in Africa to lead an Employer’s Organization.
Among others, she has been a founder or played a key role in the existence and running of a number of associations. She has over 30 years Board experience, has served and still serves on various boards of private and public companies, NGOs, and business associations at national, regional and international level. She is entrepreneur and holds business interests in a number of private companies in Uganda.
In May 2015, she received the Presidential Award in recognition of her contribution to the enhancement of Labour and employment relations in Uganda. In March 2017, she received a second Presidential Award in recognition of her contribution to the empowerment of women and promotion of gender equality in Uganda.
