Paul Mwebesa Kahigi is the managing partner of Sapava Company Secretaries. He has vast working experience with Boards and management, having worked as Company Secretary/ Head Legal and Regulatory Affairs Industrial Promotions Services Uganda, Smart Telecom (Uganda, Tanzania & Burundi), Warid Telecom Uganda and Deputy Head Legal and Regulatory Affairs at American Tower Corporation Uganda. He also has experience in legal research as well as legislative and policy drafting, having worked with the Law Reform Commission.

Mr. Mwebesa holds a Masters Degree in Managerial Studies [research on Corporate Governance and Financial Management] from Uganda Management Institute, Kampala, Masters in Intellectual Property Law from Africa University Zimbabwe and is an Advocate of the High Court Uganda
